Fighting Overwhelming Mood, Gaining Productivity

Overflowing energy – whether positive or negative – could overwhelm and sabotage you when you least expect it, especially if you are “moody” kind of person. Overwhelming feelings of joy (of a person who are madly in love) could play as boomerang to your productivity since what you’re thinking mostly are about your daydreams and fantasies about the person you’re falling for. While overwhelming feelings of sadness such as anxiety could hold you back from finishing the tasks you suppose to finish, since you don’t have enough energy to carry on the work.

Both ways, usually you’ll find yourself making excuses on why you are not finishing the tasks or projects. You might sit all day long at your computers desk and tweak a website, sales copy, or proposal for a client but never actually complete serious tasks. You might just making arguments and excuses on why it isn’t finished.

The key is keeping balance. You should find ways to neutralize your overwhelming emotion that overflows you. Meditation and prayers are the best ways to do that. If you kept your soul closer to serenity, then you will have no difficulty to keep your mood in balanced condition… just the right proportion to support your productivity level and allow you to bring the best potential inside you. Moderate negative energy could help your stay focus and alert to finish your tasks with al your best effort; while positive energy in moderation would give you the boost to do all your activities in happy mood and give you closer access to success.
